Never post
Home addresses, private phone numbers, customer names or contact details, gate or alarm codes, family details, payment data, confidential job records, or unredacted equipment identifiers tied to a customer.
What the MVP stores
Your account email and password hash are held in Authmaster. BlueCollar.Trade stores your optional private phone number, optional company and city/state profile fields, profile photo, posts, questions, answers, room messages, endorsements, reports, moderation records, and acceptance of these policies. Registration and failed-login network addresses are converted to keyed fingerprints rather than stored as raw addresses.
Email and phone
Account verification, security, recovery, and first-login welcome messages are service emails. The separate optional registration checkbox records whether you want occasional product updates, community news, and messages from Joe. Marketing email must provide a working way to unsubscribe. Providing a phone number does not authorize marketing calls or text messages; BlueCollar.Trade must obtain separate consent before using it for those purposes.
Your data controls
Signed-in members can download a JSON copy of their account data from Account & data on their profile. Non-privileged accounts can be permanently deleted after password confirmation. Owned content and uploaded files are removed; moderation records that must remain for platform safety are detached from the username and retained under an anonymous deletion identifier.
Your responsibility
You decide what to publish and who to contact. Peer technical advice is not a replacement for manuals, code requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, licensing rules, or professional judgment.
